High Tc superconducting devices based on Josephson Junctions offer new opportunities for cryo-electronics, with possible high speed and high temperature operation. Significant improvements have been made in the recent years to develop reliable and scalable technologies to produce Josephson Junctions based circuits.
I will review the most recent achievements in the field, with an emphasis on the emerging ion irradiation technology, and its applications to high frequency applications.
